Sandy is a Faithful and Committed Wife, Evangelist, Motivational Speaker, Preacher, Author, Teacher, Storyteller, Frequent Television Guest, and Loving Mother of Three.

Beneath her captivating personality, attractiveness, and charisma lies a temperate and compassionate woman – a wounded healer who understands the heartbeat of humanity. While her story is one of tragedy and triumph, Sandy has been called a Mustang, having pioneered many ministries and rebounding time and again from circumstances beyond belief that would have caused most others to crumble. She is passionately devoted to helping others get free from their bondage's so they can be released to thrive in their gifts and callings inside God’s distinctive plan for their lives. Today, Sandy Brown-Glassford is an inspiration to thousands around the world who seek God’s love, power, and presence while fulfilling her mission and calling to win the lost and set the captives free.

Sandy Brown-Glassford - Bio

Sandy Brown was born in Billings, Montana and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout her upbringing in the bright lights of the entertainment capital of the world, her young life was what most people would call atypical, including a highly dysfunctional, addicted, abusive, yet affluent family. While most adults have memories as to when their childhood “turned” for the worst, Sandy’s world was what it was from as early as she can remember.

It’s hard to imagine how this highly intelligent and bright woman, who has packed out stadiums, convention centers, and spoken in Ivy League Universities was regarded by her childhood teachers as “obtuse” and “inattentive.” The truth of the matter is that the medical and educational systems back in those days had not yet identified Sandy’s condition for what is now known as “A.D.D.” (Attention Deficit Disorder). They simply marked her as a slow learner and rebellious child while placing her in all of the handicapped classes of the day. Sandy never even learned to read until she found Jesus at the age of twenty-three! Having been raped by a neighborly friend of the family at the tender age of eight, while at the police station behind the mirrored glass waiting to identify her offender and sitting next to her father, the officer assured the young girl that the men on the other side of the glass could not see her. After hearing that, her father leaned over to whisper in his daughters’ ear, “You know, Sandy, he really can see you and if you identify him, he will chase you for the rest of your life!” From that day forward, at least in her mind, that man did follow and chase after her for years and years and years until God set her free from the spirit of fear.

The combined negative influences of fear, depression, continual abusive treatment, neglect, drug, alcohol, and mafia-influenced upbringing, as well as the fast-paced high life of being a Las Vegas Cocktail Waitress at the age of 15 (Sandy used fake ID’s), caused this young woman’s world to quickly spin out of control. Sandy’s cries for real love were persistently silenced by ongoing sexual, physical, and emotional abuse throughout her young life. She says quite often that although she was just twenty-one, she felt like forty-one!

Shortly before Sandy was introduced to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, her life had come to a dead-end the night she took a handful of lethal pills and drove out toward the desert to die. While the pills began to take their deadly toll and in a last desperate cry for help, Sandy rolled down her window and screamed, “Isn’t there anybody out there who can help me?” with that, she crashed her car and woke up three days later in ICU. As her eyes began to focus, a doctor at the foot of her bed said, “Young lady, somebody up there must really like you because you shouldn’t be here right now.” Later, the doctor told her that her heart had stopped beating at least three times during their attempts to revive her a few days earlier. He referred to her as a living, breathing “miracle.”

After several other supernatural events shortly thereafter, the Heavenly Father found Sandy and she was saved, was gloriously filled with the Holy Spirit, and accepted the calling to preach the Gospel through a visitation from Jesus, Who commissioned her to “Go teach my people to use their faith for souls, not things.” This divine visitation also revealed millions and millions of people racing toward the fires of hell, which is part of the reason Sandy is driven to preach to this day. In the vision she actually saw herself preaching in hell to these multitudes. As she started to leave, multitudes followed, depicting their freedom. She saw repeated and visible manifestations of the power and glory of God. Lives were being saved, the sick were being miraculously healed, the scattered were being gathered, and the broken were being restored. All of which are signs, which follow her ministry to this day.

Before long, Sandy packed up a U-Haul and her three small children and headed east to Tulsa where she was soon introduced to the ministry of Kenneth E. Hagin and Rhema Bible Training Center where she attended school. By the mid-eighties, Sandy’s inspired and prophetic preaching opened significant doors for her around the world, including repeated appearances on The 700 Club with Pat Robertson, The PTL Club with Paul and Jan Crouch, and numerous stadiums, conferences, and crusades from coast-to-coast, where hundreds of thousands received Christ and were set free from chains of darkness.

Later, the call of God moved her headquarters back to Las Vegas where Sandy started her School of Evangelism and church comprised mostly of ex-dealers, hookers, and Las Vegas players who were refused by other local churches because of their raw behavior and appearance. Many of these veterans turned out to become very successful pastors, evangelists, apostles, prophets, and teachers who are still thriving in fruitful ministry today calling Sandy, “Mom.”

From there, the evolution of Encounters Ministries International has included hundreds of large-scale crusades, massive global missions outreaches, the supporting of anti-child slavery organizations, and more recently, the birth of Latter Rain Awakening Conferences, alongside her husband, Greg Glassford

Sandy’s incredible journey from a troubled past, to living a victorious life of a true soldier of the cross of Jesus Christ, continues to inspire her to find and touch real people who, much like herself, need faith, hope, and most of all, the unconditional and everlasting love, forgiveness, and acceptance of the only One who truly sets us free.

Loyal Husband and Loving Father, Teacher, Exhorter, Author, Passionate Singer/Songwriter, Psalmist, and Lead Worshipper all Accurately Describe what Greg Glassford is all About.

As a forerunner of our current “worship music” scene, Greg Glassford was an ’80s and 90’s pioneer, traveling from coast-to-coast and abroad with his SpiritWind Band and solo, leading concert crusades and teaching people how to enter into the presence of God through the powerful vehicle of music and worship.

The Spirit of counsel and exhortation rests upon Greg in a powerful way as he ministers with mercy, grace, and passion from a pastor’s heart. God has used him to reach untold thousands of teenagers, young adults, and people in general, with his ability to speak and sing passionately, relevantly, and humorously straight to the heart. While ministering side-by-side with his beautiful wife, Sandy Brown-Glassford most of the time, Greg accepts a limited number of solo engagements throughout the year.

Greg Glassford - Bio

Born and raised a Hoosier through his seventh grade year in the quaint town and Lake County seat of Crown Point, Indiana, Greg was a pretty good Catholic kid until his identity crisis began to run amok.

Landing in Winter Park, Florida in the summer of 1969 with his family, all of a sudden, this handsome young man accustomed to family and childhood friends, found himself surrounded by strangers known as peers. It didn't take long for the drug and alcohol culture to invade Greg's young life as he quickly adapted to the lifestyle of his newfound friends and neighbors. By the time he entered the eighth grade, Greg was addicted to barbiturates, alcohol, and marijuana.

While his parents loved their children the best they knew how, Greg's immense need for a hands-on father was interrupted by his dads struggling business after his life savings was stolen right under his nose through a fraudulent business deal. The depression his dad underwent deeply affected Greg's lack of identity as he drew more distant from his family and more in tune with his young tribe.

It wasn't until his parents found Christ and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma when Greg started to come to the end of himself. With his world falling apart right in front of his eyes after his High School graduation, this hurting and hungry young man had a head on encounter with Jesus Christ through his newfound friends and youth pastors, Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty (Victory Christian Center, Tulsa, OK).

To date, Greg is the youngest new spiritual convert to ever attend Rhema Bible Training Center. His application to the school, received only one and a half months after his conversion to Christ at eighteen years of age, went from desk to desk until landing in the hands of the Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin, who said, "Let him in...this is of the Lord."

From there, this young man ventured out, heeding the fiery call of God on his life as part of Kenneth E. Hagin's original crusade team where he helped with all aspects of the All Faith Crusades, including leading worship on many occasions. After two years with Brother Hagin, Greg accepted the position of Youth Pastor at Longmont, Colorado's Bethel Temple, now New Creations World Outreach Church. A few years later, it was back to Tulsa to become the Youth Pastor with his friend and spiritual father, Billy Joe Daugherty at Victory Christian Center where he rode a wave of revival as the Lord grew the teen ministry from twelve despondent teenagers to over 400 in just two and a half years.

Four records and five books later, Greg's itinerate ministry thrust him into the mainstream of international youth ministry where, through God's leading grace, he traveled into forty-seven states and fourteen countries, teaching and encouraging thousands of teens and leaders, while leading multitudes to Christ.

Today, Greg and his wife, Sandy Brown-Glassford, are pursuing the will of God as they travel to preach, teach, and proclaim the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Greg is the proud father of three wonderful children and two grandchildren.
